Opening Night at Sal Maglie Stadium was unforgettable. In a game with as many twists and turns as Steven Becham's slider, Niagara was finally able to secure victory in the bottom of the 13th inning.
The first Walk-Off Homerun in Power History electrified the crowd and even before 2nd year right fielder Adam Taylor (one of only three returners from last season) crossed home plate the Niagara fan base had become aware that there is something very special in store for this 6th summer of baseball in the old ballpark by Hyde Park Lake.
