Further re-inforcements are arriving for Niagara

Niagara received great news earlier today as they secured the contract of Division I infielder Ryan Kiesel. Keisel is a JR shortstop at Trinity Christian College. He is scheduled to arrive Thursday evening during the home contest vs Olean.

This addition, alongside outfielder Nick Linne's much anticipated arrival earlier today, will serve to further strengthen the bench initially and provide tremendous depth at several key positions for the Power.

Both Linne and Kiesel will eventually become part of the rotating lineup that head coach Garrett Shivley will juggle all season in an attempt to keep guys fresh for a potential playoff run.

Summer collegiate baseball rosters can be a very fluid situation due to injuries and personal commitments. Niagara is still actively pursuing one more starting pitcher to complete the staff and eat up some innings during the dog days late June and early July.
